Avenue de Champagne, Epernay
All the roundabouts celebrate the Champagne theme.
The whole Avenue is lined with Champagne HQs, A veritable who's who. Obviously a lot of money to be made out of this stuff.
Contrary to public opinion, Dom Perignon did not invent Champagne.
Funnily enough, this bottle left on the railings outside Moet & Chandon was not one of their's!
Quite simply the biggest door I have ever seen.
These are the most northerly vines in mainland Europe.
